A Goa cricketer made news after receiving a special edition electric SUV. Ganeshraj Narvekar, an Indian inter-state T20 player, recently received his Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition. A little celebration was held at a local Mahindra dealership to honor the delivery. Narvekar published photos and videos of the event on social media. He stood with his mother beside the automobile, cutting a cake to commemorate the event. The unit he received is supposedly the 7th out of 999 limited edition models.
Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition
Mahindra unveiled the BE6 Batman Edition earlier this year. It is based on the top version of the electric SUV. The pricing is Rs. 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Booking opened on August 23, and deliveries began on September 20, which coincided with International Batman Day. The embellishments have a significant Batman influence, from the external style to the cabin details.
The BE6 Batman Edition’s exterior is finished in satin black. Gold highlights appear on the brake callipers, suspension springs, and bespoke graphics. The automobile also features Batman logos on the wheels, doors, and tailgate. Inside, the concept continues with black leather and suede, gold stitching, and bespoke Bat insignia on the seats, trim, and even the boost button. Each car’s edition number is displayed on a distinctive plaque.
Mechanically, the special edition uses the same setup as the ordinary BE6 Pack Three variation. It has a 79-kWh battery and a rear-mounted electric motor. The claimed range is approximately 682 kilometers (ARAI). The performance figures and drivetrain remain unaltered. Initially, Mahindra intended to produce only 300 pieces of this edition, but high demand forced the business to increase production to 999 units. According to reports, all flats were sold out within 135 seconds of bookings opening.
