Maithili Thakur (born July 25, 2000) is an Indian politician and playback singer trained in Indian classical and folk music. She’s delivered original songs, covers, and traditional folk music in Hindi, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Awadhi, Magahi, and other Indian languages. She entered politics in 2025, becoming India’s youngest MLA at the age of 25, after winning the 2025 Bihar elections from Alinagar as a Bharatiya Janata Party member.
1. Honda City

Maithili purchased a fifth-generation model last year. Although she initially liked the red color, the family chose a grey color for the car, which was her brother Rishav’s preference. The Honda City gets a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated (NA) petrol engine which can be had either with a 6-speed manual or a CVT (continuously variable automatic transmission).
Other assets: According to her recent election affidavit from October 2025, her total movable assets, which include her vehicles (also a Honda Activa scooter), cash, and other investments, amount to around ₹2.32 crore.
Color: The car is a grey color, chosen by her brother Rishav, though Maithili initially preferred red.
